Well I knew there was a reason I was a web developer. I hate all those gui toolkits that you have to use to create desktop application interfaces.

Well I gave the gEdit plugin thing a go, and after talking with some people on the gEdit irc channel, I have come to the conclusion that I am not going to be able to do what I want to with gEdit. So I will return to jEdit from now. But geany is looking promising, so maybe in a year or something that will do what I need it to do. Thinking about it, maybe jEdit will.

Anyway, we will see.
