My name is Philip MacIver.

I’ve been studying computers and computing since 1996, and I have worked as a software and web developer since 2000.

I have worked in various companies in that time, working with many languages and technologies. Doing permanent to contract work and everything in between.

I’ve worked in London, Berlin, Madrid and now I am working in Hamburg, Germany as a Ruby and Ruby on Rails developer.

I continue to do as much freelance work as the time restraints of my current job will allow.
